Hackney property prices down and staying down

A story in the Times says: "In August last year the property consultancy Drivers Jonas published a blackly gloomy report showing that property prices in the boroughs of Hackney, Newham and Waltham Forest had fallen by more than 20 per cent, compared with the London average of 13.7 per cent."

A couple of paragraphs later the story says: "By January, however, prices were rising in every eastern borough except Redbridge and Hackney..."

  1. Not quite sure what this means for Waltham forest. I often feel that prices here as about as low as they can be despite being zone 3.

    Thanks for the info. Bryn

  2. Hi Bryn, I don't really believe much of the property price stuff.
Just in case you didn't know. The whole of wales is under a satanic curse due to the dragon on your flag. At least that's what Hackney-based Reverend George Hargreaves of the Christian Party thinks.
