A 12-year-old boy was injured after a shot was fired on Sewdley Street in Clapton on Monday night (about 9.30pm?). A 15-year-old was stabbed in the chest in Homerton earlier in the evening.
The police issued this statement about the shooting:
Police called at 21.06 on Monday 30 April to reports of shots fired in Sewdley Street, E5.
Police and London Ambulance Service attend but no injured parties located.
Later that evening a 12 year old boy attended Homerton Hospital suffering from a gunshot wound.
He remains in hospital in a stable condition.
Officers believe the victim sustained the injury in the Sewdley Street area.
No arrests.
At least one person was seen leaving Sewdley Street on a bike after a bang was heard.
A policeman at the scene wasn't keen to connect the two incidents.

Police called at 21.52 on Monday 30 April to reports of stabbing in Pondsford St, E9.
Police and London Ambulance Service attend to find a 15 year old boy suffering from a stab wound to the chest.
He has been taken to hospital where he is in a non-life threatening condition.
Detectives from Hackney Borough are investigating.
No arrests.
Ponsford Street is closed due to the incident.
